Oh how I wish I had taken a photo of the cars of all the vendors lined up at the door last night, backs to the doors, noses to the street, everyone loading their wares and displays into their vans and trucks. The cars looked like petals of a flower. Quite a sight! Unfortunately, one vendor’s car was broken into as she was collapsing her booth and collecting her things inside the Cunard Centre. Her car window was smashed, her laptop and purse stolen. Such a shame. After all the effort of the show, this was heartbreaking.
Personally, I had a wonderful time seeing again so many of my clients, and meeting new people. I love talking about my work, and delight in explaining the thoughts behind each design, why each of my Onefooter rings is different from the other, and so on and so forth. I especially like seeing people who already own one of my pieces, and hearing them talk about how much they like them. This makes it all worthwhile!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
