Flow Pendant No. 04 with diamond in Fairmined ECO 18k yellow gold

$2,280.00

Flow Pendant No. 04

This solid 18k gold necklace is handcrafted from Fairmined ECO 18k yellow gold, which is mined at the Oro Puno Mine in Peru, without the use of mercury, cyanide or other potentially harmful chemicals.

On the pendant is a 3.12mm 0.12ct re-purposed* diamond.
Re-purposing diamonds is great, because it means no new mining needed to happen.

The Design:
An ancient Japanese technique, utilizing beeswax and pine resin, is used to create this rich texture of the pieces in the FLOW Series.

In Zen Buddhism, a calligraphic circle, executed in one stroke, symbolizes strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void).

The Material:
This pendant is proudly made of certified Fairmined™ Ecological gold, meaning:

• Small-scale operations with minimal environmental impact
• Guaranteed minimum price for workers
• No use of toxic chemicals such as mercury
• Purely mechanical extraction
• Safe working conditions
• No link to conflict zones
• Better trade relationships
• Fairmined Premium for social, economic and environmental development
• Rehabilitation of native ecosystem

With the purchase of this pendant, you improve lives. It’s gold is traced meticulously, and audited by 3rd parties. This truly is Gold To Be Proud Of.

The neck-cable is vermeil: sterling silver with thick gilding of gold.

* Spectroscopic analysis of this particular re-purposed diamond’s fluorescence confirms that the stone is either a type IIa natural diamond, ou a lab-grown diamond. Further analysis by a gemmological laboratory would be required to definitively separate this type of natural diamond from a laboratory diamond.

What does this mean? I priced this pendant as if it’s a lab-grown diamond. There is a tiny chance it might be. But most likely it is natural.
