All jewellery is handmade and shipped from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and therefore is exempt from tariffs for USA customers under CUSMA, the free-trade agreement. I always ship with a certificate of origin for customs.

*Caveat on using the term “recycled gold”:

While I am very careful to source my precious metals only from SCS® certified suppliers (SCS® stands for Supply Chain Sustainability; they are the global leader in the field of sustainability standards and third-party certification). Most of my precious metals suppliers are also members of the Responsible Jewellery Council. However, I want to point out that ‘recycling gold' is not what is commonly understood by the term.

True recycling avoids things ending up in landfills. Gold, of course, wouldn’t.

Instead, gold is simply melted, refined and repurposed.

Although SCS® certified refineries must maintain auditable records of their suppliers, there are loopholes globally which make it very easy for gold from unregulated and/or illegal sources to enter their supply chain.

This makes even 'certified recycled' gold untraceable.

With this singular stud you can really see how a circle executed with a calligraphy brush was an inspiration for the FLOW Series.

Enzo/Ensō is a Japanese word which directly translates as “circular form” . In Zen Buddhism, this calligraphic circle, executed in one stroke, symbolizes strength, elegance, the universe, and original mind.
A little more free-form than the Enzo FLOW Pendants No.07 et No.21, this one shows the ‘release of the brush’ at the end of the circle. A tiny reminder of your own intrinsic purity, right at your ear.

This one-of-a-kind earring is handcrafted in 18k certified FairMined yellow gold, mined at the Iquira Mine in Columbia.

Fairmined is an assurance label that certifies gold from responsible small-scale artisanal mining organizations, effecting socio-economic benefits for the miners, and their communities, and protection of the environment.  The entire supply chain of this gold is tightly traced from the mine to the goldsmith, under independent auditing. I am so relieved that I have found Fairmined Eco Gold. It truly is Gold To Be Proud Of.

The Japanese beeswax method used to create the FLOW Series results in markedly one-of-a-kind pieces each time. Local beeswax is melted with Portuguese pine resin to create a  wax which can only be worked by hand, at body temperature. Shaping the wax has to happen with very few movements, in a flow, which is where the Series gets its name. That leaves room for a lot of serendipity.

This is a one-of-a-kind, single earring, can be worn by itself or with a companion stud from the same Series.
