Pièce Unique #249 \\ Bague Onefooter en Or Blanc Palladium avec Diamant 0.28ct, gr.7

$4,680.00

Pièce Unique #249
Grandeur 7

This refined spiral ring beautifully coils its loops of white gold.

I like diamonds mainly because of their hardness – a diamond will stand the test of time the very best, this is certain. It won’t scratch or dull or loose its facets over time. But diamond extraction can be rife with conflict, as I am sure you have heard. This is why I prefer certified Canadian diamonds (or laboratory-created ones), knowing that they were mined in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, adhering to the highest environmental standards in the world.

This diamond weighs 0.28ct (which is definitely on the larger side of my quarter-carat diamonds in this price-range), and has a colour grading of G (in case you didn’t know – D is the whitest, and Z is the most yellowish). Its clarity is SI2 , which stands for “Slightly Included 2”.  I often go for SI1 or SI2 in quarter carat diamonds because, in a diamond of this size (roughly 4mm) , you really can’t see the inclusion. Technically, this grading means that an expert can make out the inclusions under 10x magnification.

Italy calls palladium white gold “grey gold”. It actually looks quite a lot like platinum, and has a gorgeous rich lustre. I love it. Read more about it in my Knowledge Base article about palladium white gold.
