Australian sapphires are some of my favourites. This Celebration Ring No.13 has a teal-coloured oval one, just under a carat (6.72×4.84mm) set atop a 18k yellow gold band of 2.5mm width. The full bezel and broad band (2.5mm) lend this ring a very contemporary look.
It is a Size 8, and the shank is somewhat bevelled on the inside to made it akin to a comfort-fit. I always want my rings to be wearable with comfort!

Full bezels are brilliant for any kind of ring, but especially for engagement rings, if this is what you are thinking, because it means there is no snagging of claws on clothing, and no need to check and/or re-tip claws. A wedding band could snuggle up next to this ring easily, but it can also stand on its own.

Thus, this could be a self-empowering ring, or a birthstone stacker.
