One-of-a-Kind #177 || Sterling Onefooter Ring with 4mm Australian sapphire set in 18k yellow gold, Size 9
The sterling silver Onefooter ring is a size 9, and the Australian sapphire is set in 18k yellow gold.
It is generally difficult to determine the origin of sapphires, with few exceptions. Australia is one of them. I like knowing where the materials I work with come from, so I enjoy working with Australian sapphires. I also like being able to provide affordability – I was able to buy several of these 4mm stones, and am able to offer the resulting rings at a better price than most sapphire rings. The stones do have a more earthy tone than some other sapphires – a fact I quite enjoy, actually.
THIS RING HAS SOLD! I still have a couple of these stones in my studio, and can make you a similar ring in your size. Request a Quote

Because each ‘bead’ or ‘nest’ is made from individually forged wire, which is then wound by hand into a continuous loop, each necklace is totally unique. Each pendant is individually forged and wound […]Select options

This material is beautiful to work with, and I appreciate its dark lustre. This ring begins as one foot of 18k gold wire, which is first pushed and pulled in various directions, then […]Select options
One-of-a-Kind Onefooter Ring in 18k Yellow Gold, with Sapphire
https://dorotheerosen.ca/shop/one-of-a-kind-onefooter-ring-in-18k-yellow-gold-with-sapphire/Every single ring in this series starts out the same way – as a one foot length of 18k yellow or palladium white gold. Then I start forging it to move the metal. After that, the metal finds its own way around the finger, depending on where and how the shape of the wire changes along its […]Select options
