*Caveat on using the term “recycled gold”:

While I am very careful to source my precious metals only from SCS® certified suppliers (SCS® stands for Supply Chain Sustainability; they are the global leader in the field of sustainability standards and third-party certification). Most of my precious metals suppliers are also members of the Responsible Jewellery Council. However, I want to point out that ‘recycling gold' is not what is commonly understood by the term.

True recycling avoids things ending up in landfills. Gold, of course, wouldn’t.

Instead, gold is simply melted, refined and repurposed.

Although SCS® certified refineries must maintain auditable records of their suppliers, there are loopholes globally which make it very easy for gold from unregulated and/or illegal sources to enter their supply chain.

This makes even 'certified recycled' gold untraceable.

One-of-a-Kind #280 || 18k palladium white gold Onefooter Ring with Canadian diamond set in 18k yellow gold, Size 8

$6,380.00

One-of-a-Kind #280 ||
Size 8

This refined spiral ring beautifully coils its loops of yellow gold. I really feel good about working with certified Canadian diamonds. Equally, the material for the ring – palladium white gold – is a material I can feel good about: no nickel, and no need for rhodium plating. The purity of palladium is alloyed to the purity of gold to make this platinum-looking clean metal.  This diamond is set in 18k yellow gold, so that the wearer can mix and match what they want to wear with it.  The diamond weighs 0.24ct  and has ‘H’ colour and SI2 purity. The grading report is from the Federal Gemological Laboratory of Canada.

For a more subtle look for an anniversary or self-empowerment ring, a 1/4ct diamond is just right.

A note on the colour of palladium white gold: it is decidedly darker than commercial white gold, with more colour depth, but hard to photograph. Have a look at my Knowledge Base article to find out more about this wonderful metal.

This is one of the last remaining OneFooter rings in sterling silver with a gem, so don’t hesitate. Want one in gold? Check my Custom Rings.
