Such a classic – 18k yellow gold and diamonds. The recycled gold cradles a natural diamond which adheres to excellent environmental and social standards in its extraction from the earth.
The diamond is ArcticMark-certified to be of Canadian origin. Its quality is certified by the Gemological Institute of America, GIA – the most reliable of grading sources. The diamond in this OneFooter ring has a colour grading of F, which is very good. Its clarity is SI1. This one weighs 0.58ct. But – to me- most importantly: it has a Triple X cut-grade of EX/EX/EX, meaning that it has excellent Cut, Symmetry and Polish.
As for the ring itself: is is, like all of my OneFooter rings, forged from a one-foot length of 18k yellow gold, before I wind it to shape the ring. Then I add the setting, and finally set the stone.
No two of the rings in this design are ever the same. Each wraps around the finger in a different way.
