This version of the Onefooter ring reminds me of candy in its lusciousness. Did you know that sapphires come in a huge variety of colours? Let me custom make one for you. Like all my Onefooter rings, this one also begins as one foot length of sterling silver wire, which is first pushed and pulled in various directions, then wound repeatedly into a continuous loop, wrapping around the finger many times without beginning or end. The coloured sapphire is then set in 18k yellow gold. Each ring is unique and different; no two are the same. I prefer the paler shades to the dark blue, but can create either. The dark blue stones are much more expensive, so the stone will be smaller if it is darker in colour. A dark sapphire will be about 0.35ct, a lighter shade 0.5ct.
The ring generally has 5 loops, but that can vary, depending on how much the metal was forged, and the size of the ring. Average width is +/-1cm (ca. 3/8″)
