I really enjoy having found this material: nickel-free 18k palladium white gold, which never requires rhodium plating like commercial white gold does. This material is beautiful to work with, and I appreciate its dark lustre. This ring begins as one foot of 18k gold wire, which is first pushed and pulled in various directions, then wound repeatedly into a continuous loop, wrapping around the finger many times without beginning or end. Then I top it with the brilliant sparkle of an ethically mined, quarter carat Canadian diamond.
This ring generally has 5 loops, but that can vary, depending on how much the metal was forged, and the size of the ring. Average width is +/-1cm (ca. 3/8″).
The diamond is roughly a quarter carat, ethically mined, certified Canadian diamond. I go through great length to make sure that I get good stones, which I can feel good about, for my Onefooters. The grade is generally colour G or H, and clarity SI1 or SI2, with excellent cut and brilliance.
Each ring is unique and different; no two are the same.
Made of 18k palladium white gold. Also available in 18K yellow gold.
