I have only recently begun to place gems in more of my handcrafted rings, like this Script SURGE ring. Always inspired by my environment, the calligraphic line of the Script series is inspired by my trips through India, and the intensely ornamental scripts of this exotic country, which become more and more fluid and ornamental as one travels south through its great expanse. It is that calligraphic line that inspired this series. Thus, this work continues to explore my fascination with line, and line in volume.
This Script ring in 18k yellow gold is studded with Montana Sapphires, round, 4.5mm (0.41ct) , 4mm, and 3.50mm,
as well as 2 round brilliant cut diamonds, each 2.3mm (0.05ct) SI/FG colour.
