These rings are created in an ancient Japanese technique which uses Nova Scotia beeswax mixed with pine tree resin from Portugal (where I went to further study this technique) to create each piece individually. They are then cast in lost-wax method. Each ring exists only once.
This one is set with a beautiful light, almost periwinkle blue 5.2mm genuine sapphire from my trusted women gem merchants at Pierres de Charme.
With the folds of gold overlapping almost like in a hug, this ring would lend itself beautifully as an engagement ring. But with that gorgeous blue it would work equally well as a reminder of a memorable visit to an ocean, or your lovers blue eyes. Or just because you like it!
The FLOW Series in ethically mined gold is inspired by the movement of water, and the texture of calligraphy brushes. This ring is individually handcrafted from 18ky certified FairMined Ecological gold, which is mined at the Oro Puno Mine in Peru, without the use of mercury, cyanide or other potentially harmful chemicals.
