Yesterday, I went to visit Tiiu Poder in Antigonish, NS … she will be opening a store there, and was ready to place her order with me. The store, Aphrodite, sounds very exciting: she showed me some of the women’s fashions she has ordered for the launch, and I must say, it was hard not to drool over the catalogues. Antigonish is lucky to get such a cool store!
It was a beautiful fall afternoon, just yesterday, for our visit ….
but today, it was a whole different story:

In all that snow, I retreated to the warmth of the wood stove in my studio, and played with 22k yellow gold (my favourite!) and rough diamonds. Maybe I’ll post some more pictures of that, another day. For now, I’ll tuck in with a good book :)
