I’ve decided to do a holiday studio sale, together with (and at the home of) my friend and colleague, potter Mindy Moore. Our children have been in school together since pre-primary, and we actually went on a college-hunting road-trip together, respective offspring in tow. That was an excellent bonding experience! The four of us had a lot of fun, and it gave us moms an opportunity to really get to know each other. So now we have decided to join forces creatively, as well, but putting our work together and offering it to view and purchase at Mindy’s home on Sunday. I really look forward to this intimate, sweet event. We’ll have hot cider going, and I’ll think of some yummy treats to offer. I love making hors d’ouvres!
Plus, I am thinking of pulling out the very last few Crush rings. Since I stopped making them, I have been finding myself rather attached to the last remaining few … I don’t want to let them go! But I have had many requests. So: if you are one of those people who have always wanted one, this may be your last chance. There are a couple at Harvest in Wolfville, and at Noel Guyomarc’H in Montreal, but mostly just Toronto’s Zilberschmuck Gallery has a them now. So if you are in Halifax this weekend, come and get ’em!
I might also pull out a few remaining pieces of the Joypearl series. I don’t have necklaces left, but a few earrings, and possibly cufflinks …
