Oh we had such fun last Sunday at Mindy Moore’s, with our pottery and jewellery sale. It was such an intimate atmosphere, like visiting with friends, yet many people came who had simply seen the announcement in the Chronicle Herald events listings, or heard about it through friends. It was really such a pleasure to be able to take the time to talk with each person and discuss what they might like – for themselves or for a loved one as a gift.
I especially get such a kick out of husbands secretly shopping for their wives (because I love creating surprises, just ask my children), or couples (of all ages!) shopping together. I love observing the smiles, the gestures.
Potter Mindy Moore and her husband, photographer Marvin Moore, were most generous in opening their home for this event. I admire both their work very much. Marvin was generous enough to share the following images here (but do check out his website; his photos are amazing):
