One-of-a-Kind #243 ||
The stone in this ring was hand-cut in Nova Scotia by master gem cutter Keith Thomas. Mr Thomas travelled the world and lived in many countries where he would develop relationships with the miners, and collected much rough stone over decades. I love having that kind of direct connection to the origin of the stone.
The sapphire weighs 0.59ct and has a diameter of 5m. It is set in a 18k yellow gold bezel setting. The ring itself if sterling silver. As with all of my rings in this series, this one began as one feet of sterling silver, which I forged before letting it find its way around the finger.
